A short Bio on Dr. Kleis
Dr. Kleis attended medical school at McGill University in Montreal and studied psychiatry and child psychiatry at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. Since moving to the bay area, he has been the Medical Director for Midpeninsula Mental Health Group, an attending psychiatrist for the Eating Disorder Clinic at Children’s Hospital at Stanford, and the Director of Psychiatric Services at the Children’s Health Council. He was Vice President on the board of Supporting Our Sons and trained numerous teachers and parents on how to manage the modern boy. He is currently in private practice in the Stanford area and an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Department of Psychiatry at Stanford Medical School where he teaches and supervises Child Psychiatry Fellows. His professional education and experience have been augmented by his son and daughter, who daily help him refine his parenting skills.
